Congratulations to Elizabeth Lee, PhD on her new position as Assistant Professor of Biology at Villanova University. Dr. Lee recently completed her postdoc training at the University of Chicago under the mentorship of Dr. Jocelyn Malamy, where her research focused on understanding the influence of cell-matrix interactions on wound healing in the jellyfish Clytia hemisphaerica. Elizabeth also earned her BS and PhD degrees at the University of Chicago. Among her many roles and activities here on campus, Dr. Lee served as President of the Postdoc Association for the last couple years. The PDA is very grateful for her leadership and service to the BDS Postdocs, and will be greatly missed. Best wishes in your new position Elizabeth!
