Survey Committee
For over 15 years, the Survey Committee has disseminated surveys to their peers in the Biological Sciences Division as a internal “status check” of the postdoctoral experience. Through iterations of refinement, the postdocs on this committee have worked to establish a set of questions that were launched as the 2016 National Postdoc Survey.

The Biological Sciences Division Postdoctoral Association represents the interests of BSD postdocs directly to the University of Chicago faculty and administration. In order to fulfill this mission, it is necessary to collect comprehensive statistical information about postdoc issues, concerns, and problems. We therefore conduct regular surveys of BSD postdocs to efficiently obtain this information.
