Congratulations to Dr. Zhengjie Zhou, who was awarded a K99/R00 Pathway to Independence Award! Dr. Zhou is a biochemist and molecular biologist and is currently a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Medicine and the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering. Dr. Zhou is a member of Fang Lab and co-mentored by Dr. Yun Fang and Dr. Matthew Tirrell. Dr. Zhou’s K99/R00 award is related to his work in nanomedicine and vascular research, which aims to develop a targeting nanomedicine strategy treating various vascular complications. Dr. Zhou recently presented his work at two conferences hosted in Chicago: Vascular Discovery 2024 and the CAAC-ATVB Symposium. Dr. Zhou’s participation was funded in part by a Career Advancement for Postdocs Travel Award. Congratulations again to Dr. Zhou on his recent awards and conference presentations!
